Why follow artists?
Following artists is the thing that makes Bandsurf Bandsurf. This is how you determine who you get notifications about and with a platform that is meant for finding concerts- you probably want to follow your favorite artists. Below is some information about following artists, what it looks like, and what it does when you follow them.

Following and Unfollowing
Following and unfollowing artists is easy! Simply go to the artist profile and click the Following button under their artist image. The button will change to green and you will see a banner letting you know that you successfully followed the artist.
To unfollow an artist you just click the same button. It will ask you to confirm so click it a second time and you will see a banner confirming you have unfollowed the artist.
Where to see your followed artists
You can see all of your followed artists in your profile under the Followed Artists tab. This gives you a clean list where you can unfollow any artist you currently follow.
